Our Services:

      The School Library System serves over 95,000 students in 130 schools

      Collection Development

           Our Books for Students Program has provided over $100,000 in free books to our member

           libraries over the past 6 years

      Annual Professional Development Conferences                                                    

           Each year the School Library System holds a professional development conference for school

           library media specialists, who participate in a full day of workshops, networking, vendor   

           exhibits. Recent speakers have included:

        Interlibrary Loan                      

           The SLS provides a free interlibrary loan service to increase student access to resources

         Automation

               The SLS provides technical support in library automation. Over 97% of our public school  

               libraries are automated

           Online Databases

                The SLS provides our 18 component districts with cost efficient access to online databases
